PDF Solutions is looking for a Senior Application Software Engineer for our inhouse layout extraction software. The job can be done mostly remotely, except for customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Installation, setup and maintenance of the software
• Gathering information from customers on their needs
• Prepare customer presentations
• Translate abstract descriptions of geometries into software configurations/scripts
• For new software configuration, design testcases and run tests to make sure it works as intended
• Troubleshooting problems with software and create fixes/workarounds
• Synchronize with other application engineering activites, keep “best practices”
• Coordinate activities with PDF engineers worldwide
  
  

Qualifications

• Master degree or higher in computer science or electrical engineering or similar
• Knowledge of computer systems
• Communication skills for interaction with clients as well as internal engineers, including creating presentations
• Attentiveness to detail to ensure all parts of an application come together and work as intended
• Being able to find solutions in new application fields
• Good geometrical understanding
• Experience with state-of-the-art layouts
• Being able to integrate various, sometimes contradicting, inputs
• Keeping on overview over more than one project
  
  

Pay Range

TWD $1,700,000.00 - TWD $1,900,000.00 /Yr.
