Job Description

As part of ADI’s Battery Power and Consumer Power team, you will play a key role in developing products that go into smartphones, wireless headsets, gaming consoles, and other leading edge consumer electronics. You will work directly with our key customers, who are among the leading consumer electronics companies in the world. Working within a talented team of engineers, this is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing leading edge consumer hardware. You will be involved in the complete product life cycle from system concept through to customer device mass production.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

ADI’s Battery Power and Consumer Power team focuses on IC products that include battery charging, battery fuel gauging and DC/DC power conversion.

• Schematic and layout design of evaluation boards
• Work closely with product definers, IC design, business management and customers throughout the product evaluation and optimization
• Conduct road-tests, performance optimization and characterization
• Development of automated bench setups
• Write application notes, user guides, articles, design ideas, datasheet manuscripts for internal/external publication
• Provide technical support, workshop and training to key customers, FAE and distribution partners
• Work with BU/Field team to expand and win business opportunities
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with power electronics (knowledge in switching regulators, battery chargers, fuel gauges or other battery products)
• System knowledge of consumer electronics applications such as smartphone, TWS earbuds, and other wearable devices
• Experience with hardware, firmware, and software design
• Basic programming skills and experience (experience with Python and C is a plus)
• Strong written and oral communication
