Purpose of Position

The Regional IAP Manager - Taiwan will have responsibility for managing regional team & support expansions, projects/programs deployment and supervise currently existing sites (mfg. & commercial) IAP execution. Partnering with Display IAP extended team to protect Corning trade secrets to ensure that all intellectual asset protection policies, procedures, and best practices are followed during the design, engineering, construction, process startup phases and normal operations. The Regional IAP Manager – Taiwan is also responsible for ensuring that Display Intellectual Asset Protection (IAP) policies and procedures are in place at manufacturing facilities during startup and transition to Operations.

Major Responsibilities

  • Regional IAP Manager - Taiwan for expansion & operations
  • Ensure that all intellectual asset protection / information security policies, procedures, and best practices are followed during the design, engineering, construction, process startup phases and operations
  • Plan regional IAP activities and resources in alignment with overall Display IAP plans
  • Specify IAP spending for software/hardware and day-to-day operations
  • Ensure IAP training for all personnel and deploy regular communication plans or promotion activities
  • Facilitate risk assessment and conduct policies compliance checks
  • Documents/Drawings review and release
  • Incident investigation management
  • Recruit, hire and manage regional IAP team
  • Partner with Regional IAP Champion to ensure Display IAP objectives are aligned
    • Define IAP requirements with Corning Global Security
  • Provide input and risk assessment on plant layout to enable effective IAP/information security
  • Ensure plant security systems enable effective IAP
  • Coordinate security system installation schedule with IAP risks
  • Review access matrix and ensure compliance
  • Investigation management and escalation
    • Define IAP requirements with each functions
    • IAP decision facilitation and approvals
  • Local coordination for consistent IAP programs within regional locations
  • Lead/facilitate IA risk analysis and decisions, escalate promptly when decisions are not satisfactorily agreed
  • Provide guidance to Operations regarding implementation of Display IA policies/procedures

    Education & Quantitative Skills

    • BS in Information Security related discipline, Engineering, or Information Technology
    • >8 Years working experience
    • Experience working in a role related to information or trade secret protection/security
    • Experience in an industrial environment, manufacturing plant, or manufacturing support
    • Familiarity with information technology tools for trade secret protection, CISSP certification will be a plus
