Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior AI/ML Test Engineer to join our team, responsible for testing and validating machine learning models and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have approximately 1 year of experience in quality assurance and a strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Collaborate with AI/ML developers to understand project requirements and design test plans accordingly.
• Data Preparation: Prepare and curate datasets for model testing and validation, ensuring data quality and relevance.
• Testing Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for AI/ML models and applications to streamline testing processes.
• Bug Tracking: Identify and document defects, issues, and inconsistencies in AI/ML models and applications, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of AI/ML solutions through systematic testing and validation.
  
  

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to improve the overall quality of AI/ML projects.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity in programming languages such as Python and knowledge of relevant testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  
  

Knowledge Requirements

• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Awareness of testing tools and methodologies specific to machine learning.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and deployment processes for AI/ML models.
• Work with minimum supervision
• Ability to anticipate problems proactively and take appropriate actions to mitigate impact
• Good communication in both Chinese and English
• Flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a rapidly-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processes
