Could you be the full-time Project Planner for our ATP for DMU 15-Train & Trainborne Equipment 7-Train Projects (Signaling/OCS) in ALSTOM Taiwan?

Project Planner is as Deputy of the Project Manager, responsible to build and update in the scheduling tool the project schedule (internal or customer schedule), in order to manage efficiently the time commitments of the project (tender, contract or program).

We’ll look to you for:

In contract or program execution:

  • Build the project schedule based on internal standard WBS, contractual targets and data provided by the Project Manager,
  • Perform schedule analysis to identify gaps or schedule issues and navigate potential solution with PM
  • Participate to periodic project schedule sessions and project core team meeting
  • Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline,
  • Focus on early identification of potential delays (critical paths) including the status on risks and margin related to schedule
  • Prepare schedule and progress reports for Customer or Lead Unit or Partners,
  • Coordinate with varioius stakeholders and functions to fulfull the on-time delivery milestones,
  • Proactively participate in Customer meeting for timely Contractual requirement catpure and execution

For all:

  • Apply the Project Scheduling Process,
  • Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, share best practices, schedule templates.

Performance measurements in tenders:

  • On-time delivery of all requested tender deliverables requested to fulfil RFP requirements,
  • On time delivery of schedule analysis for decisions by the Tender Team: critical paths for main milestones, planning risks, standard metrics measuring schedule robustness
  • List of potential gaps between project schedule defined in tender and Platform Reference Library schedule

Performance measurements in contract or program execution:

  • Baseline approved (internally and by the Customer)
  • Regular and consistent scheduling updates, with potential delays analysis
  • Standard metrics measuring schedule robustness (PSI)

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in Construction/Railway industry.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Primavera P6 software.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Basic overall knowledge of railway products, systems, Project Management.
  • Agility to juggle with schedules simulations and various scenarios.
  • Rigorous, structured and sense of anticipation.
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team work.er, multi-tasking mode.
  • Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment.
