Process Engineer

• Provides day-to-day problem-solving support to production, development, and research operations
• Trains operators and trades personnel on new equipment and processes
• Uses rigorous processes and technical knowledge to build detailed technical understanding for key process steps
• Functions as a team member or team leader on focused projects
• Trouble shoots material, process and equipment issues, identifies root cause, and implements corrective action
• Implements and documents material, process and/or equipment changes
• Uses simple statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) in process problem solving and process improvement; Uses more sophisticated statistical tools and DOE techniques in problem solving and process/product improvement
• Assure quality and repeatability of processes and products
• Supports division engineering team with new product introductions through equipment installation, process certification, documentation, training, and sample run
• Assures safety of operators and equipment and complies with safety and environmental regulations
• Develops SME knowledge of material, process and/or equipment in focused areas of manufacturing or engineering
• Executes cost reduction and improvement (DMAIC) projects in line with business objectives.
• Lead TPOCS document receiving/reviewing for P-FMEA/Process Flow Chart/ Control Plan/ process feasibility studies/, etc
  

• Engineering bachelor or master’s degree.
• Above 3~5 year experience in Engineering team with process improvement/cost reduction/manufacturing.
• Engineering degree, in Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical/Materials science Engineering,
• Plant / Fabrication experience in process or manufacturing
• Good problems solving and analytical capabilities (particularly statistical analysis).
