He/she will be a key technical member in architecture team and work with different functional teams (Design, Algorithm, Verification, Firmware, etc.) to deliver AMD ISP solution for APU product.The PersonThe primary purpose of this position is to provide technical direction and leadership of architecture definition and algorithm development of Image Signal Processor (ISP). The successful candidate would be hired as PMTS engineer level, with the expectation that he/she would have rich experience in the camera, image processing or similar industry. A candidate that has a strong image science background with a focus on image signal processing (ISP) is highly desirable. Previous experience in image sensor tuning is also an asset.Key Responsibilities

• Image processor architecture definition, deliver algorithm model/specification and analyze feasibility of technical and architectures
• Design and implement image processor related algorithm and firmware solutions for new product
• Image senor tuning methodology development, improve tuning process and image quality
• Collaboration and interface with local and global development and test teams to deliver a complete product solution
• Interactions with IP and SoC architects/managers, SW developers, tool owners and HW engineers in order to identify, resolve and document architectural performance issues

Preferred Experience

• Masters/Ph.D. degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering with emphasis on multimedia domain
• Strong experience on C/C++/Matlab, Proficient in algorithms of video/image processing
• Experience on camera /ISP software, firmware or algorithm design is preferred
• Experience analyzing system bottlenecks and optimizing systems for performance
• Experience RTL design and/or Verification experience on large ASIC development projects

Academic Credentials

• Bachelor or Master, major in EE, CS or related area
