The Role

Our PAE will work with server ODM to perform technical supports for board bring-up, debug, validate and system tests, specifically requires having a broad technical understanding of server CPU, board circuit, schematic, layout, high speed interface of DDR/PCIe, debugging process as well as the understanding of software environments including but not limited to Linux, Windows, UEFI, and BMC.

What The ODM Management Team Wants You To Know

ODM Management is the team to deliver the product from NPI to mass production. A critical function team to make sure the design/manufacture tasks at ODM is completed to deliver the platforms to customers.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the ODM PAE team, you will support design activities of various ODM projects. And work with Ampere Sales, PM, AE, and engineering teams worldwide to provide server design related support. Need to travel to different regions whenever needed.

PAE is the first line of technical support who required to have people skills, good communication, and knowledge to understand the questions in combination of hardware/firmware/OS.

What You’ll Bring

• Server system engineering and architecture knowledge
• System test and validation experience and knowledge
• Ability to use tools and/or scripts to test/validate features and functions of server systems
• UEFI and BMC experience is a big plus
• Provide technical assistance to ODM design team to develop Ampere based server and/or data center solutions
• Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to customer platform development
• Perform excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex problems involving cross region and functional teams
  

Education & Experience

• BSEE with 8 years of experience, or MSEE with 6 years of experience of hardware related.
