Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

What your background should look like:

We are looking for a Logistics Manager who has a real talent for material inbound & outbound handling management as well as warehousing, inventory management, customer special labeling, goods transfer, loading, unloading, managing 3rd party logistics vendor consignment, trade compliance and continuous improvement/ ISO9001/E.H.S. management. This position will be located at our TE Taiwan DC in Luzhu Taoyuan, Taiwan and will report to the logistics DC Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage all the inbound and outbound process including goods receiving, Put-away, abnormal receiving material location transfer, cycle counting, inventory scrap, other unplanned inventory management, delivery orders & shipment creating, pick, labeling, pack, shipping and RMA handling.
• Arrange and supervise all on-site Logistics coordinators on their workload to meet daily business requirements.
• Manage and control 3rd party logistics service and vendor consignment
• Supervise forwarders, local truckers and customs brokerage activities on the cargoes import and export, arrival / deliver to customer; loading/unloading cargo, handling cargo irregularity including complaints handling and damaged cargo claims.
• Manage and control trade compliance in HS coding, import, export and multiple site business models,
• Manage for continuous improvement program, ISO9001, E.H.S. in warehousing and inventory management together shipping supplies material management (cartons / wrapping film / pallets etc), in facility and operation equipment maintenance program (forklift, packing and wrapping machines etc).
• Develop staff multi-skills and talent capabilities.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics or Business Administration preferred
• Over 5 years solid warehouse operation experience in supervisor level.
• Chinese & English proficiency for business communication is a must.
• Hand-on capability to supervise daily operation and proactively take precautions.
• Able to plan and manage multi-tasking.
• Active, diligent, hard-working and careful.
• Experienced in ERP system on Logistics operation, SAP system operation preferrable.
• Able to endure non-air-conditioning environment in warehouse working place in summer period.
• Able to work independently, overtime may require in peak season.
• Integrity, innovative, well communicated and highly teamwork and accountability for continuous improvement.
