As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. As a Materials Program Manager, you will be responsible for material management through the product lifecycle process including, NPI clear to builds, sustaining inventory levels, and EOL inventory validation and scrap. You will work on various materials/designs and collaborate with many teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clear to builds for NPI and sustaining programs.
  • Provide purchase approvals for materials at various stages, qualification builds, NPI, and sustaining based on Vol projections and End of Life timing.
  • Manage End of Life material inventories, providing recommendations to team for liability mitigations.
  • Partner with planning partners to develop material inventory strategy for sustaining and End of life product lifecycles inline with liability mitigation goals.
  • Request part quotes and provide to CMs (for OEM Models) based on program forecasts
