Role summary:
This position will focus on providing organization development, learning and development solutions on a regional level, including the training program development and delivery for corporate leaders and individual contributors. The candidate must be capable of providing practical thought leadership, building strong relationships, and influencing without direct authority. This position will report to Head of Taiwan HR and will partner with HR business partners to develop and deliver learning initiatives.
Responsibilities and Outcomes:
1. Accountable for or coordinates in the design and delivery of appropriate learning development and program/interventions to targeted employee groups.
2. Lead L&D team to partner with HR Business Partner team to identify critical leaderships/professional development needs to form the foundation of developing learning programs to meet the competency requirements.
3. Assist in sourcing third party training vendors such as coordination and negotiation of learning resources, and ensuring quality of programs and services level are delivered.
4. Support the learning and development daily tasks according to corporate policies and HR procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1. The successful candidate must have 10+ years of overall experience with at least 3 years experiences in designing, developing and delivering comprehensive learning programs
2. People management experience and project management skills are required.
3. Possess strong knowledge and understanding of L&D theory and practice, solid problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent classroom management skill
4. Experienced in blended learning approaches or top management development is a strong plus
5. Must be a creative, self-directed, collaborative, and results-oriented professional, and have strong business acumen
6. Able to work with minimal supervision on varied and complex tasks, to establish work priorities and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot issues and multiple training initiatives
7. Bachelors in human resources, education, training or related are preferred
8. Fluent in English is required
9. Proficient in MS office and familiar with multimedia production software
