We are looking for aKey Customer Development Manager to join ourDNV Business Assurance Taiwan team.

In the role you will be expected togrow and manage our portfolio of Key Customers (KC’s) in the management certification business anddevelop brands new relationships/ business . You will manage initial commercial negotiations and renegotiations of contracts with our customers.

Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Grow and maintain a strong sales pipeline across all market segments. This pipeline to be circa 2.X target on a monthly basis to achieve target obligations.
  • Proactively support and follow up on leads from marketing campaigns;
  • Calculation and preparation of quotes;
  • Maintain opportunities entered in CRM and up-to-date with respect to both close dates, probabilities and values;
  • Proactive calling of prospects, suspects, and self-generated targets;
  • Conduct customer meeting and sell our solutions;
  • Overall responsibility for the relationship and cooperation with selected Key Customers - the handling of their queries, offers and sales;
  • Manage incoming tenders and proactively involve central Global KC, operations, technical and legal colleagues.
The right candidate has the perfect balance between a commercial mindset, a customer focused approached and a good technical understanding of complex business environments. You will have a proven track record in a similar role with sales and/or customer service or a technical background with a strong commercial mindset and experience from business development or technical selling.

We expect that you have experience working with CRM systems, SharePoint and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Our services are highly specialized and that will require you to have good abilities to communicate and sell the value proposition. You will of course get thorough training in our services, with a defined mentor, and will participate in suitable courses to learn our strategy, services and markets.

  • We are looking primarily for a real customer focused individual who has a personal drive for solution sales and is outgoing and proactive.
  • You’ll be able to work independently and in a team with colleagues from other disciplines within the busines.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships is essential as well as an understanding of how to use this to meet your sales or delivery aims.
What experience/ abilities/ skills we expect from you:
  • Technical sales background; ideally in a Consultancy, Health & Safety/ Environment or Compliance capacity;
  • Results-oriented and focused on achieving your goals – also understand how that fits in to the teams goal;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a structured way with your customer interactions and sales activities;
  • Proactive, positive and thrive in a sales department;
  • Constructive, solution-oriented attitude and are good at solving problems;
  • Can work under pressure and can handle challenges in cooperation with others;
  • Works in accordance to DNV values.
