As part of the wider Supply Chain Planning team, this role is responsible for aligning external process capabilities with our projected requirements, leveraging the Supply Plan of Record to understand and support future capacity and material requirements,

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Joint Development Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing company’s Joint Development Manufacture’s (JDM’s) as assigned, ensuring material and capacity are in place to sufficiently meet demand.
  • This includes managing the relationship with our strategic JDM’s, scheduling and tracking production, measuring, and tracking KPIs, and holding regular performance reviews with strategic partners
  • Negotiate prices with CMs and maintain updated/agreed prices in system where applicable
  • Maintain and supply all required cost information to Supply Chain Management and finance as requested
  • Provide regular forecasts to JDM’s to secure necessary material supply and capacity
  • Ensure overall CM capabilities are maintained, tracked, and aligned to current and future business needs
  • Track daily production at JDM’s and follow-up as needed to ensure supply is available to meet customer demand
  • Provide weekly supply status updates
  • Track CM performance to KPIs and support scorecard administration/data management
  • Give clear, professional presentations to large groups at JDMs from various functions (executive leadership, sales, R&D, etc.) and facilitate group discussions
  • Seeks and support implementation of solutions for process and system improvements related to the JDM’s process
  • Participate and/or present in key cross-functional internal meetings
  • Manage inventory levels, both raw material and finished goods, in accordance with the quarterly forecasted demand per product line
  • Continuously monitor open purchase order lines and hold regular communication with Supply Chain Management and Forecast Planners to drive on-time delivery
  • Work cross functionally with procurement engineering, quality, R&D and Supply Chain Management to expedite material shortages
Requirements

Other Qualifications:
  • Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • 2-5 years working experience. Some experience with engineering (electronics) planning background.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Dynamics software
  • Written and Verbal Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
