Role Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced software development and maintenance functions for The Yield Book and FTSE Russell Fixed Income Indices
  • Design and develop software in Java and RESTful Web Service for the next generation of FTSE Russell Fixed Income Index System and Custom Index Tools
  • Maintain and develop index production system to improve efficiency and quality
  • Utilize analytics skill and fixed income knowledge to implement index calculation methodology
This position requires and rewards candidates with strong personal initiative, work ethic, and the ability to develop expertise in both fixed income markets and the technology needed to deliver analysis capabilities for these markets.

Qualifications

And Experience Required
  • Bachelor degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or Operations Research or similar
  • Advanced programming skills in Core Java, JavaScript, Angular 2+, JDBC and RESTful web services
  • Good knowledge of Eclipse, Tomcat, SVN/Git and the UNIX/Linux environment
  • Working Experience with SQL programming in Sybase environment
  • Strong analytical abilities
