About The JobIt’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth with dedicated colleagues worldwide. We are now looking for an Inventory Manager to join our Supply Chain Department.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of the Inventory Management team

• Provide positive, conducive working environment for achieving results
• Conduct performance assessment and training to ensure personnel competency
• Hiring and On-boarding of new employees
• Ensure safe, healthy and productive work environments within the team as well as with suppliers

Ensuring integrity of Finished Goods inventories, hereunder

• Execution of yearly inventory counts
• Execution of random sample based inventory counts as deemed necessary
• Routines and Procedures related to moving goods in and out of Finished Goods
• Identification of non-current Finished Goods according to Shelf Life criteria
• Ensuring effectuation and completion of Supplier Quarantine events according to the relevant provisions in the Quarantine Management Procedure
• All execution related to Suppliers’ scrapping of Work In Progress and Finished Goods

Operational management of 3rd party warehouse

• Development of metrics for Supplier performance related to areas under Inventory Manager’s responsibility

Management of shipping activities

• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments
• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to determine shipping priorities
• Hands-on execution of ad hoc shipping as may be required from time to time (e.g. extreme expedites)

Operational management of 3rd party logistics partners

• Ensuring 3PL operational processes and shipment preparation in line with company requirements
• Negotiate price of shipment transportation with carriers.
• Evaluating carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics.

Document shipping methods and workflow

• Creating and implementing shipping policies and procedures.

Maintain shipping documents appropriately and make sure the latest revision is provided to 3rd party accountant for the business tax reportQualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
• The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
