What We Offer

Major Tasks:

• Lead APAC IP organization (4 production sites, with ~60kt, 50% of TPU global capacity) to provide a reliable and responsive supply chain & exploit synergy out of our regional/global asset network
• Lead IP organization in Changhua site (with 8 reaction lines and ~25kt capacity) by supervising the functional lead of Production &
• Inventory Planning, Warehousing/ Logistics, and Business/ Admin support to ensure a smooth and safe operations
• Initiate and drive Global/Regional Balancing in coordination with other regions/sites to capitalize on cost/tech advantages and optimize utilization of individual sites.
• Initiate and drive proactively the needed product shift and expansion/upgrade to ensure we have the right set up at the right place at the right time to support future business growth
• Responsible for production/inventory planning to improve MOEf, cost efficiency and plant utilization, yet maintaining fair level of flexibility
• Lead and coordinate key initiatives in the area of global supply chain management and capacity expansion
• Drive process optimization, standardization and digitalization projects and organizational changes in relation to IP
• Own the process of production order prioritization to maximize return for organization
• Provides regional supply related input for annual planning process (SDR & FPC)

• Production planning and inventory management optimization
• > Reduce 750mt of capacity loss (est. ~2.5% output loss reduction; equivalent to US$1.2mio MI2a) in Greater China sites
• Avoid unplanned downtime due to External losses (e.g. RM or utility shortage)
• > Reduce ~500mt output loss (2021 YTD data) from raw material shortage; equivalent to $0.8mio MI2a
  

Cost Optimization/Global/Regional Balancing

• Identify cost optimization opportunities and coordinate the necessary cross-functional measures to realize the saving potentials (est. 1mio MI2a gain)

Qualifications

• University degree
• Master Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Material Science, or Operation Management preferred
• Six-sigma or related qualification preferred * Proven leadership experience in the specialty material industry with strong industry insights on regional level * 8-10 years in depth knowledge in Thermoplastic/Elastomer technology, operation/ product/supply chain management
• Operational background, strategic & highly analytical, experienced in managing end-to-end supply chains
• Superior capabilities in managing business & supply chain processes, operations and team members cross-culturally/-functionally
• Strong operational knowledge and experience
• Strong leadership across different functions
• Strong problem-solving and process oriented skillset
• Think strategically/regionally, act pragmatically
• Strong cultural sensitivity and value diversity
• Change agent with resilience and open mindset
• Able to make tough decisions and work with ambiguity
