Design and develop the products hardware and recognized for high level of expertise in the variety of engineering disciplines.

This position is Hardware Engineering Supervisor for Notebook products in the top 50 of TW Listed company, closely integrated to most of the development organizations, including platforms, backplane hardware & firmware teams, systems management. The position provides the opportunity for setting the technical and design direction for the products along with responsibility for its implementation into the product lines.

You Will

• Identify potential weakness and provide design guidance for improvements
• Participate in cross-functional development efforts, involving feature definition, supplier selection, development process execution and improvement, integration testing, fault isolation and resolution, manufacturing release, and resolution of design issues found in the field.
• Responsible for providing technical contribution to the specification of power supply in Notebook solutions
• Duties include all activities necessary to take a design from concept to production including, architecture definition, schematics, component selection, debug, test, issue resolution and factory ramp support.
• Candidate will be expected to work under and deliver to date-driven schedules and write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and documentation.
  
  

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should have design and development experience with at least 5 years, including 2 years of management experience.
• Good Notebook power supply hardware design understanding, along with Power and Thermal domain expertise, System power optimizations is an asset
• The ideal candidate should also have knowledge to work with DC/DC power designs.
