Responsibilities

1. Lead project to manage system requirements and lead technical problem resolution across engineering disciplines during the execution of the program.

2. Root cause analysis of design, manufacturability, and production issues to improve designs to successfully take products to mass production.

3. Interface as the central resource with design, test, application, software and marketing teams

4. Perform digital/power analysis and evaluation of new systems, working with a multi-functional team to identify, simulate, and correct functional and parametric problems

5. Create schematics based on Architectural Reference Design using Cadence OrCAD Capture

6. Review Multi-layer HDI PCB designs using Allegro Physical Viewer and any Gerber Viewer

7. Export a Bill of Materials (BoM) from Cadence OrCAD Capture and import into a PLM such as Arena

8. Travel to the CM/JDM/ODM sites in Asia to perform first-time bring-up and debug of product hardware

9. Characterize and debug power devices, such as power supplies, battery chargers, and battery fuel gauges

10. Develop and perform engineering procedures and verification tests for complex electronic systems and modules

11. Arrange compliance testing and interface verification for both high-speed and low-speed serial and parallel buses, e.g., PCIe, USB, HDMI, MIPI, eMMC, SDIO, SPI, UART, I2S, I2C, etc.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 10 years of technical working experience, knowledge with consumer and enterprise product design

2. Expertise on ARM system design, system PWR architecture

3. Expertise in electrical engineering and knowledge of multiple related areas

4. Experience and familiarity with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, current/voltage probes, power meters, data loggers, electronic loads.
