The Global Pricing Manager supports global commercial operations by preparing rates or tariffs for new and existing clients across all of our services, including inbound samples, outbound drug and depot logistics services. The pricing manager will perform market analysis and coordinate pricing for the organization’s products and/or services in order to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.

Under general supervision, responsible for developing and maintaining factors that impact company pricing, reviewing data to make effective changes, and allocating resources and ensuring that the allocation of resources is effective.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with operations, sales and the procurement teams to ensure competitive pricing for our customer base
  • Analyzes and implements pricing changes based on external/internal benchmarks and analyzes impact of changes made
  • Creates/Analyze/Actions data focusing on sales
  • Analyzes various data sets to develop pricing strategies that balance market conditions and sales expectations
  • Provides direction and oversight for market-level tactical and strategic pricing actions to continually maintain Marken’s pricing leadership position and monitor and react to competitive pricing actions
  • Create new business processes to become more efficient and effective in both pricing and yield management. Build a culture of strategic and operational excellence to outperform competitors and deliver the revenue plan
  • Drive analytical projects to improve decision making and revenue performance (post-award analysis, industry competitive analysis, strategic roadmaps, etc.)
  • Able to maintain and improve upon reports to help spot areas of concern or opportunity to improve analyst efficiency and increase total revenue
  • Must be able to accurately analyze reports and evaluate areas of concern or opportunities to make quick decisions to improve revenue performance
  • Written and verbal communication skills – must be able to effectively convey market level strategy decisions and results to the team, upper management and other departments to ensure all parties are informed and in agreement
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience
  • 5+ years’ experience pricing logistics airfreight and transport
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and clinical trial industry
  • High level Excel skills to include using pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Working knowledge of Tableau and Salesforce
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to set priorities and adjust accordingly
  • Ability to interact effectively in a team environment and prioritize multiple projects
