Primary Purpose

Description

• Take a product from start to finish, and design for functionality and durability.
• Create drawings to support new product development activity.
  

Scope

• Responsible for the design and development of FPC products for customer solutions.
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with global team to understand requirement. Provide design solutions.
• Create/modify 3D models, drawings and BOMs.
• Perform mechanical design analysis, simulation, testing reports and eliminate design mistake.
• Perform measurement, testing on products to ensure the product performance.
• Support sales, marketing to communicate with customer to solve engineering issues.
• Follow product development process, cooperate with cross functional team and ensure time to market.
  

The Experience You Will Bring

Education

Requirements:

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering

PREFERRED: Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience

REQUIRED: 3-5 years product design experience or above.

PREFERRED: Automotive experience, at least 3~5 years

What Will Put You Ahead

Required

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• 3D /2D CAD skills: NX (preferred), Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc...
• Drawing skills: Perform GD&T.
• Design skills: Tolerance analysis, DFMEA. DFM, Experience with finite element analysis.
• Good written English understanding.
• Good verbal English understanding.
  

Preferred

• Cross-plant communication experience is preferable.
