What will you do?
The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing business development activities with a primary focus on prospecting new opportunities in Laboratory Products. Defining and driving strategies and ensuring the achievement of lead generation and pipeline growth is a key objective. BD manager will be responsible for revenue target for APJ region and will have a strong role in contributing to region overall success.

The geographical area under management is the APAC.
How will you make an impact?
- Prospect new sales opportunities in Cell therapy, IVD and other high growth verticals across APAC region will be the primary objective of this position and will involve working closely with cross-functional teams within the business unit.
- Partner business managers and application teams on customer visits to provide strong commercial support, and assist in the promotion of Production and Diagnostic products (PDX) at all marketing events and activities.
- Work closely with Agents, Distributors, Channel Partners and Business Managers will also be part of a daily routine.
- Complete sales process, provide quotation to countries for special cases or projects. Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders. Engage team meetings and involve in pipelines monthly meetings across APAC.
- Manage system demonstrations; organize workshops and seminars by working closely with the marketing managers and product marketing managers regionally and globally.
- Assist and work with regional marketing team in the development of sales support materials including brochures, applications notes, product data sheets, competitive matrices, and technical presentations
- Assist in the execution of Marketing campaigns (on-line and through events) by working closely with Regional Marketing Manager
- Develop, present and coordinate global training programs to the sales force to inform them of strategies, new products, enhancements, or competitive information Lead/participate in project teams as identified to improve business performance.

This position is ideal for an experienced business development professional wanting to be involved with a dynamic team in a high-tech company; looking to combine his/her strong commercial skills. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- A Bachelor degree a science discipline, BS in Biology, Life Sciences,
- More than 3 years of business development in a medical devices/ life sciences industry.
- Strong track record of building new business across APAC.
- Have proven success in new markets penetration across the Asian market
- Experience in dealing with government bodies, multiple large and complex projects
- Project management knowledge –certification is an advantage
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, in English; fluency in one or more of other major languages is a plus
- Strong presentation skills
- Systematic problem solving by working with customers and internal team.
- Take ownership and able to demonstrate leadership in all aspects
- Ability to work in a global and multicultural team
- Must be self-motivated and enjoy challenges.
- Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
