JOB PURPOSE

This role is defined to support in country-specific needs & activities under S&OP and supply chain operations. Assist and support MCO Supply Chain business partner to deliver the best in class service with optimized cost, including yet not limited to, identifying operational improvement opportunities within Sanofi and with distributors, supporting and leading part of S&OP in market process, providing real time support to commercial team to enable business growth and reapplying best practices. Be master of in country operations and processes

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The incumbent will report directly to the Taiwan & Hong Kong Supply Chain Business Partner – based in Taiwan.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities

S&OP process

• Facilitate monthly S&OP meeting data preparation with MCO SC BP and lead demand review discussion for Base & Rare disease
• Analyze monthly forecast accuracy KPI, understand gaps and identify annual improvement plan, revise the plan continuously
• Lead and collaborate with BUs to drive and execute forecast improvement plans and to provide inputs on trend analyses; assist in the development and validation of long range planning and forecasting models for budget and production needs of the business
• Responsible for monitoring & reporting of in-country Supply Chain KPIs (OOS/Alert, Forecast Performance, Inventories, Destruction & Distribution Costs) as well as follow-up of slow-moving/short shelf-life products with risks of obsolescence
  
  

Demand management

• Interface with Sanofi regional supply chain organizations, plant supply chain teams and other distribution platforms to finalize net demand plan and follow up on product deliveries
• Monitor & follow-up on logistics consequences of regulatory activities relating to regulatory approvals (eg. market licence holder), new product launches, site transfers or variations with various stakeholders (plants, regulatory affairs, quality); to also consider other aspects linked to generic labelling, price changes
• Support & provide information on trade stock levels and trade stocks dispersion to the Commercial teams.
• Instruct and coach in-office outsourced distributor contractor to plan and arrange redressing activities, support supply chain department operations and executions

• Continuously identify operational opportunities and develop then execute improvement plans
• Roll out country and regional initiative across TW and HK

Essential

JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTITUDES

• Min 5 years’ demand & supply planning management working experience, preferably in multinational companies
• Knowledge on I/E procedure, experienced in handling full sets of I/E shipping documents is an advantage
• Attentive to details and numeric sensitive
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced working environment
• Strong communications skills and analytical skills
• Proactive, energetic, self-motivated, independent, positive attitude and a good team player
  
  

Desirable Skills, Experience And Qualifications

• Degree holder in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management
• Background in pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage
• Proficient in MS software including Word, Excel and Power Point
• Good in Chinese and English
