R232315DescriptionAbout this roleAbout The Business UnitThe APAC Marketing team in BlackRock sets the strategic direction and implements marketing plans for client business in Asia Pacific. It is the responsibility of this team to raise brand awareness and drive preference of our investment capabilities, including analyzing the return on investment to advise and evolve future activities.About The RoleBlackRock is seeking a motivated individual to join our Taiwan Marketing team, based in Taiwan, to contribute to the planning and development of digital marketing initiatives, and support the growth of business across retail banks, insurance, online platforms, and official institutions client segments.The role will report to the Head of Taiwan Marketing, BlackRock. This individual will work closely with the manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives especially on digital channels such as digital content, videos, and client engagements, across owned media (corporate site, LINE account and YouTube channel) and paid media.Overview Of Responsibility
  • Partner closely with the Taiwan business teams to implement effective channel marketing but focusing on digital channels to meet our business objectives.
  • Manage existing owned media including corporate website, LINE account, and YouTube account, and expand to other digital platform to build digital eco-system.
  • Build compelling marketing content such as videos, livestream, webpages, and social media content to strengthen brand and promote funds.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners in APAC Marketing, Client Business, Client Product Strategy, Legal and Compliance and other business functions as appropriate, to stay aligned and ensure programs are effectively delivered.
  • Share and leverage marketing standard processes across markets in region to scale marketing activities and achieve consistency across the region, where possible.
  • Monitor and track Taiwan specific marketing budget vs actual spend in an efficient and responsible manner.
  • Manage external agency and partner with internal teams across digital, desktop publishing, creative production and media buying.
  • Support the analysis of impact of digital marketing activities, that advises future marketing campaigns, and optimize marketing efficiency across channels.
  • Assist team members to support marketing campaigns and strategic projects.
  • Collect market intelligence, turn it into insights and share with partners and marketing peers.
  • Understand client behavior, needs and market trends to create innovative and impactful experiences.
Experience/Qualifications/Skills
  • Associate level (at least 3-5 years of experience) with validated marketing and/or product strategy experience in the financial services; experience in asset management industry is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese – both written and verbal. You are able to write, edit, and proofread copy across a number of marketing channels.
  • Strong understanding of the investment management industry including investment products, client segments and the competitor landscape.
  • Self-motivated individual, with high energy, a commitment to excellence and superb time management skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including an ability to move projects forward amidst ambiguity, effectively integrating input while maintaining project schedules.
  • Excellent problem solver with strong quantitative and analytical skills. You are intellectually curious with good critical thinking skills.
  • Creative thinker. You thrive on delivering messages in an innovative and engaging manner and you can maintain creativity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate credibly and leverage the firm’s resources locally, regionally, and globally to craft marketing solutions and resolve issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with multiple and determined stakeholders and build positive relationships across investment teams, sales, product strategists in the firm.
  • BA/BS required.
  • Sophisticated Excel and PowerPoint skills is a requirement.
