Video surveillance solutions are ubiquitous and vital in maintaining accountability in our society today. They can serve as silent witnesses to a scene, act as a deterrent, and often simply serve as a means to reassure a property owner. Synology has been consistently innovating in the field of video surveillance, leveraging our storage expertise to built robust, feature-rich, and cost-effective solutions that are overseeing countless locations today. You’ll be joining an experienced team to build our next generation products.

You Will

• Design and implement deep learning-based and computer vision-based algorithm for surveillance-related projects
• Work on and develop video surveillance-related projects (mainly on video analytic applications) in a Linux environment
• Develop JavaScript-based frontend applications
• Continually optimize performance and improve the reliability of our existing solutions to tackle even larger and １more demanding deployments
  
  

Requirements

Requirements

You are expected to have:

• Experience with concurrent programming and debugging in C/C++/Python
• Background knowledge of Deep Learning/Computer Vision
• Experience in any of the following deep learning frameworks: Tensorflow/PyTorch/Keras.
• Experience in any of the following deep learning inference engines: TensorRT/OpenVINO.
• Familiarity with programming in Linux environments
• Strong interest in solving computer vision problems
• Passionate about keeping up with the latest research (deep learning/computer vision)
• Creative and critical thinking capabilities and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
  

We’re Targeting Candidates With

• Familiar with object detection, object tracking and face recognition algorithm
• Experience in developing CUDA or OpenCL program
• Experience in developing real-time video analytics applications
