Job description:

Procurement Manager is responsible for Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies; Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness; Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms. Including Direct material & Indirect material.

- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms

- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation

- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power

- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking

- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks - Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers

- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries

- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand - Documents and reports all relevant KPI’s

- Resolve any arising problems or complaints

- Supervise, coach and train direct reports

- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets

- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

- Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements

- Acts with an entrepreneurial mindset. Continually seeking to improve upon the status

- Promote a positive proactive environment where input from team members is valued and encouraged

- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

- Prepare annual budget - Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
