General Summary

The PTE organization is looking for a strong PowerBI developer to transform large datasets into meaningful dashboards. This role will assist the engineering team to develop a BI and fron-ent solution from the ground up and support the ongoing requirements to meet the organization needs.

• Support all layers of BI instance – including (but not limited to) data transformations, data modeling, implementation, documentation, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Develop multiple BI data model(s) from prototype to production in parallel to support organizational BI goals
• Maintain strong acumen in data transformation from data warehouse to BI layer to optimize ETL’s and data model(s)
• Implement process improvements (Automation, Query and Model optimization)
• Articulate requirements to improve BI infrastructure to IT team and follow through to completion
• Serve as SME (Subject-Matter-Expert) in PowerBI and Business Intelligence
• Work with IT and other business partners to drive the evolution of the enterprise data architecture
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools: JMP, DataPower, Tableau
• Web development experience is a plus
  
  

Work Experience

• Demonstrated experience and strong acumen across the Microsoft PowerBI Suite including DAX, SQL, Report Builder, Data Model integration with Excel
• Development experience in the Microsoft PowerApp Suite and SharePoint Sites preferred
• Experience in PowerBI Premium Capacity preferred
• At least 1 years’ experience with Microsoft BI Suite, PowerBI, Power Query, PowerPivot, Power Apps, SharePoint development
• Demonstrated ability to gather and articulate business and technical requirements
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the organization
• Strong communication and time management skills and a self-motivated approach
• Ability to be detail-orientated and execution-focused
• Capacity to be highly collaborative and team oriented
• Tenacity and the resolve to not give up easily
• Genuine passion for clean and reliable data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
• Ability to present ideas, design concepts, data, and plans clearly and efficiently
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar education from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent experience. Masters degree preferred.
