Apple is looking for a creative and hard-working senior engineer / technical lead to help define and deliver new display technologies for Apple’s next gen products. A successful candidate will not only need to demonstrate extraordinary technical skills, but also excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with various Apple internal multi-functional teams and external suppliers.

Key Qualifications

- Experiences working in Display/Panel or semiconductor industry for more than 5 years as an integration engineer, QA or FAE engineer.

- Experiences in defect inspection and failure analysis.

- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

- Self-motivated to identify never-before-seen issues in new technologies

- Experience in FIB/EMMI/AOI/WLI/Cell tester is a plus

Description

- Responsible for defect inspection and failure analysis of panels after manufacturing or reliability testing.

- To identify the sources of potential risks through observation of defects and analysis of data.

- Develop analytical methods and strategies to reveal the root causes and mechanisms.

- Partnered with other engineering groups to find further mechanisms and make improvements from designs, materials, and processes.

Education & Experience

Normally requires Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical Industry, Material Science or Optics, nice to have 5 years Photo lithography hardware and process experience.
