Purpose of the job : The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the supply chain of both service and equipment business for the TW Customer Centre (Edwards , TW GV , CSKT , ACV , CTIP) They manage the regions supply chain, so it operates in the most effective and efficient way. They own the processes and activities that maximise customer value and achieve a sustainable competitive advantage within agreed operating costs.

Knowledge And Skills Requirements

• Degree in Business, Engineering or Science followed by +7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Detailed material management knowledge and +5 years’ experience.
• Extensive Operations Management knowledge and +5 years’ experience.
• Project or line management experience in warehousing / distribution function, including +3 years management of large projects or scope of operations (e.g. budgets and/or benefits)
• Demonstrable experience in strategic involvement where individual judgement would have a direct bearing on company performance.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills relating to internal members and global operations roles.
• Familiarity with the principles of world-class supply chain management, its implementation and support. Ideally a member of a relevant professional body.
• Experience of working with 3PL providers, Freight and Import / Export controls.
• Proven ability to deliver project objectives on time and to budget.
• Excellent communication, time management and administration skills.
• Computer literate, specifically: MS Office and knowledge of transaction & planning systems.
• Evidence of an analytical approach using qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques.
• Experience of working internationally an advantage.
• Knowledge of vacuum applications, industry, and equipment an advantage.
• Fluency in written / verbal English essential.
• Familiarity with SAP concepts and operation as an advantage.
• Self-motivated, dynamic, self-starter and a team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill; good knowledge of MS office.
• Native Chinese speaking (Taiwanese will be a plus), and good command of English in reading, writing and
  

speaking.
