JR43762 NAND Application Engineer

Micron Flash Consumer Component Business is looking for a NAND Application Engineer for our marketing team. In this roll you will have the power to influence our next generation NAND specs, support and work closely with customers and enable our next generation NAND by working with 3rd party controller vendors. The roll also includes working with Micron and Spectek teams in finding ways to reclaim all qualities of NAND and matching it to the relevant end applications.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Partner with 3rd party NAND controller vendors (Phison, SMI, Maxiotech, and many others) to ensure External controllers are qualified with Micron NAND for current and future nodes
• Work Micron and Spectek engineering and with our Global Quality organization to drive Product features, NAND Specs, Data sheets to fit the consumer market segment.
• Support Customers to help with their qualifications to attain Design wins with the customer application
• Conduct regular technical meetings with customers and controller partners to drive enablement
  
  

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding on NAND technology and features. Background in Memory Application Engineering or Product Engineering is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team but also be accountable and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  
  

Experience

• 5+ years or equivalent prior work experience, preferably in a memory semiconductor company
• Experience in Memory Application Engineering or Product Engineering is highly desirable, especially in NAND.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher
