We are looking for an interface specialist with experience in designing mechanical and electromechanical assemblies for semiconductor test equipment. This position involves designing test structures for customer focused solutions. This position will be part of a multidiscipline engineering team based in Taiwan with targeted support for a large customer base in Asia. The successful candidate would be analytically minded with a good foundation in practical application of engineering design techniques, tools, methods, and principles.

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD system.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing methods and processes, factory standards, fabrication processes, and assembly documentation.
• Structural understanding of Finite Element Analysis.
• Good communication skills, both in verbal presentations and written documentation.
• Proficiency in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to interface with management and customers.
• Basic working knowledge and understanding of drafting principle, GD&T.
• Strong ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be a motivated self-starter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Semiconductor test experience with familiarity on test floor peripheral equipment.

- Ability to analyze multi-assembly tolerance stack-up and develop required calibration fixtures.

- Hands on integrating interface solutions, documenting, and submitting design change orders.

- Familiar with PCB design and fabrication.

- Conduct Finite Element Analysis to support new designs.

- Creation and submission of engineering drawings and test procedures.

- Coordination with internal operations as well as subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.

- Basic electrical debugging skills preferred.
