What We Offer

Major tasks:

• Analyze and diagnose equipment failure cause by Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or other superior performance analysis tools and improve equipment performance reliability.
• Implement timely equipment maintenance and urgent troubleshooting in mechanical equipment system for maintaining plant’s production operations.
• Develop mechanical equipment maintenance tactics and fulfill preventive maintenance plan.
• Review and create equipment specifications of mechanical installation and replacement.
• Purchase mechanical engineering and maintenance materials & components; manage mechanical equipment assets and spare parts.
• Act equipment risk assessment & relevant improvement for machinery safety.
• Evaluate and select suitable suppliers and contractors for engineering procurement, materials and equipment purchase, maintenance service.
• Apply for safety work permit; manage contractors for safety.
  
  

Value added:

Technical discipline expertise and maintenance technology application in mechanical and reliability engineering, which help the plant to effectively execute equipment failure cause analysis&diagnosis and relevant improvement, as well as equipment maintenance and installation for plant production operations. The role helps in the plant to develop equipment risk assessment and equipment safety improvement for machinery safety. The function in the position is to demonstrate a variety of values in plant’s safety, production operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field of engineering and science.
• At least 3 years work experience in relevant manufacturing, worked in relevant companies (plants) of petrochemical or chemical industry, utility and energy industry are preferred.
• Experience in mechanical equipment installation and maintenance.
• Experience in rotating machines ( pump, agitator, cooling fan etc.) maintenance and metal welding technology.
• Experience in mechanical integrity and equipment safety management.
• Computer literate and experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Auto CAD.
• Able to use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or other superior performance analysis tools for analyzing equipment malfunction cause.
• Must be a team player who is able to understand organizational objectives, take effective communication and action in responding requirements of customers or tasks.
• Good spoken and written skills in English and Mandarin.
