About Your Next Opportunity

HTC VIVE is seeking a Marketing Director to support marketing efforts for our Viveport and Viverse teams. The ideal candidate will plan and implement consumer marketing programs to drive brand awareness, consumer acquisition, sales, and consumer loyalty to ensure positive program ROI.

Skills required to be successful include experience with digital marketing campaigns (planning/execution/result management), web, email, social media, display ads, and the use of advertising techniques.

Having extensive experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, semi-structured environment is critical. This person must be comfortable collaborating with global teams and partners, and have the ability to adapt to changes quickly.

Additional job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute global marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with Product, Content, and Operations teams to achieve campaign goals
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure the campaign results

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 12+ years of marketing experience in integrated marketing and digital media management
  • Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in a data-driven, integrated marketing environment
  • Experience in social media and influencer marketing programs
  • Proven record of marketing at a global company or subscription service
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with different teams and stakeholders
  • Must be able to speak conversational Japanese
  • Passion for VR, metaverse, and gaming

Working Conditions

  • Primary work location is indoors
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment
  • The employee is regularly required to sit
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
