Launched in January 2021, KICKS CREWis a leading global platform for authentic athletic footwear and sportswear. While the industry is hunger-marketing and scarcity driven, our mission is to democratize sneaker culture, making it inclusive and accessible to all consumers. We recently raised our Series A (led by Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Gobi Partners), and have quickly been scaling our team to help match the explosive growth in demand for our products.

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing who can help us oversee a wide range of activities, aiming to build brand awareness and loyalty.

What you will be doing

  • People Leadership: You’ll build a team of marketers and need to effectively communicate, mentor, and guide the strategic roadmap alongside the Director of Growth
  • Brand Marketing: Create, develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that will raise awareness, and drive customer acquisition and retention. To include influencer marketing, media partnerships, paid social, PR, events, sponsorship, content, on-platform promotions and market research
  • CRM: Oversee the customer lifecycle journey for buyers and operationalize key moments through owned channels (Email, Push, IAM) to support company goals/metrics
  • Project Management: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (including Product, Content, PR, Design, Digital Marketing, Retention, Engineering stakeholders and more) to deliver first-class product marketing programs
  • Affiliate Marketing: Lead and grow our affiliate program. Core duties include recruiting strategy, performance analytics, and strategic promotions for key partners
  • International Marketing:Lead our international marketing strategy and collaborate with our international stakeholders to plan and execute them for key global markets
  • Reporting: Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
  • Finance: Manage the performance marketing budget, analyzing/reporting on marketing KPIs, and setting forecasts/expectations for sustainable growth

We are looking for

  • BA/BS degree in business, marketing, economics, finance, or equivalent hands-on experience considered
  • 7-12 years of marketing experience, which includes 5 years of platform experience particularly within digital marketing, paid social, etc.
  • Previous US market marketing experience is a plus
  • Previous experience setting the vision and strategy for the marketing organization, but also can get in the operational weeds when necessary
  • Strong excel and analytical skills - must be able to interpret raw data into meaningful insights and KPIs
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in Mandarin/ Cantonese
  • Start up, e-commerce and/or marketplace experience is a plus
