Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced software development engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in macOS (or iOS) software development. We are focusing on exploring attractive experiences on VR/AR products besides gaming. You will be in charge of our apps on the macOS platform and work the full technology stack, from the user interface to system-level functionality. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, tackling complex technical problems, delivering effective solutions, and creating quality products is essential.

  • Create and maintain an advanced application for our VR/AR products on the iOS platform
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to continuously improve user experience, and ship new features
  • Troubleshoot issues and bugs and improve application performance.
  • Explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency through testing and continuous integration.

    • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of software development experience for building software on macOS or iOS platforms.
  • Strong development and debugging skills on macOS (or iOS) are required
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Swift, Objective-C code, UX development (Appkit/SwiftUI)
  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines, such as Mac internals, apple system extensions, keychain, and app permission models

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with programming with video encoding and decoding.
  • Having published one or more iOS apps in the app store will be a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese fluently.
