The Trade Marketing Specialist drives the Trade Marketing function and works together with Off Premise Manager & KA Specialist to develop and coordinate the trade marketing & insights activities to maximize the potential of the Red Bull brand in the trade whilst maintaining the brand personality & values. S/he should support developing the strategy of the sales team and enable the execution & measurement of that strategy via Key Accounts and Field Sales teams. This includes all means of communication (internal, trade & shopper), internal coordination between marketing and sales, POS development and implementation, Category Management projects, trial activities and sales analysis to generate insight. In general, the job holder will co-ordinate and project manage all trade-led marketing activities.Areas that play to your strengths

Trade marketing knowledge & capability
Lead the development of the trade marketing strategies, utilizing trade and marketing experience to recommend best trade-led activities to drive sales. Recommend and support trade activity proposals with analytical backing, following the brand guidelines whilst protecting the brand image. Support the creation and development of all channel communications that contribute to the timely execution of Red Bull initiatives at internal, trade or shopper level.
Business Insights Management
Responsible for commercial/insights/research analysis and reporting. Combine different sources of information and present the most important business developments to sales management, and proposes routes of action that focus on the right business priorities.
- Draw insights and recommendations for action based on business targets and priorities.
- Track results: Responsible for pulling information from the different data sources and analysing the data and deriving insights from it.
- Insights: Responsible for ensuring insights are understood and that clear points of action are determined to address opportunities and issues.
- Audit: Responsible for running the Perfect Store Audit in their market. This means setting standards, finalizing store lists and briefing the agency to run the audit as well as budgeting for the audit.
- Support to run Category Management projects with the identified top customers. Interpret the available data and shopper insight to come up with a tailored action plan that will grow Category turnover in that customer.
- Responsible for supplier management for multiple data sources. (Nielsen, Merchandisers, 3rd Party Audits, etc.)
Responsible for all visibility items including coolers, customer-specific displays, customised print material and all merchandising selling tools. The activation and POS manager holds external relationships with agencies and suppliers to develop trade marketing tools for all Off-Premise channels. They are responsible for delivering added value promotions to the trade.
- Plan & Order & Track: Responsible for developing a clear placement and tracking plan for the market and coordinating orders with operations.
- Tools: Responsible for the creation of selling and trade marketing tools for the Key Account and Field Sales teams.
- Responsible for the coordination of all Global Standards.
that matter most for this role:
- >5 years of experience in the FMCG sector. Ideally in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Category Management, and/or Key Account.
- Motivation, Team Skills & entrepreneurial spirit.
- Clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity, consumer behaviour in FMCG context.
- Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends. Strategic thinking able to lead the sales strategy.
- Knowledge of analysing software (i.e. Nielsen Advisor or similar)
- Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) skills.
