The Role

Our System Test Engineer requires strong understanding of test programs, good communication, and capability to drive/meet critical business milestones. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in testing, enjoy working both in remote and in a lab environment, drive testing, be proactive, and have a hands-on approach to work assignments.

What You’ll Do
  • Improve ATE production test programs for yield improvement and test time reduction
  • Lead optimization and continuous improvement efforts on production test screen
  • Support RMA, reliability, and failure analysis tasks on ATE
  • Ensure high quality test program release to OSAT in Asia
  • Maintain test programs, modify as needed for quality and yield issues
  • Define yield and manufacturing spec for wafer sort and final test
  • Support Ops team on NPI startup and HVM deployment activities
  • Support engineering and production lot disposition and low yield analysis
  • Reduce production cost by improving yields and reducing test time
  • Perform ATE characterization across split lots
  • Support SLT test program and production environment at OSAT to improve yield and hardware performance
  • Experience with developing functional test on ATE
What You’ll Bring
  • Hands-on experience in VLSI SoC or microprocessor product bring-up and productization
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
  • Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction
  • Solid background in ATE testing, test methodology, silicon process and DFT/DFM
  • Familiarity with SCAN/ATPG/MBIST, functional tests a plus
  • Excellent problem solving, teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of server system architecture
  • Familiarity with Linux and scripting is a plus
  • Preferred to have SLT experience
Education & Experience
  • BSEE or MSEE with 7+ years in semiconductor product/test engineering experience
