• 5 years of experience in engineering program/platform build management.

• Ability to take initiative, drive several tasks at once, and ensure products are shipped.
• Excellent team player and creative thinker, with the ability to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Google Nest team focuses on hardware, software, and services for the home, ranging from Nest thermostats to Nest smart displays. The Google Nest team develops, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Responsibilities

• Manage the development of Nest SoC/Electrical Engineering/Radio Frequency/Other Technology platforms and drive the overall tactical execution and strategy of the team.
• Lead a cross-functional team to execute tactical solutions development risks and issues to meet platform build milestones, cost, and manufacturability.
• Drive platform development processes and development reviews with the cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage platform schedules and resource needs with engineering and operations teams.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
