North America (NA) Consumer Banking: over 30,000 professionals working together to provide consumers with credit card, retail banking, wealth management, small business, mortgage and payment products and services. Within NA Consumer Banking there are three primary product lines and multiple enabling functions. The three product lines are US Retail Banking, US Branded Cards, and Citi Retail Services. Enabling functions include, but are not limited to, Client Experience, Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Risk Management, Operations, Technology and Franchise Development & Partnerships.

Within the US Retail Banking group, Retail Business Banking focuses on meeting the needs of Business Clients with annual revenues up to $20MM as well as up to $5MM in Credit Facility needs. The senior project manager in this role will report to the Head of Strategy and Vendor Engagement, provide thought leadership, and execute on the most critical strategic priorities for the team. The role will interact with all members of the US Retail Business Banking team and be responsible for developing an execution plan that cares for the needs for the entire business. This role will establish both short term and long-term goals and execute against them bringing in partners across the network for support and accountability. This role requires outstanding strategic and execution skills, commercial acumen and problem solving abilities. The role requires a thorough understanding of key business drivers within the segment, with an ability to translate into business priorities.

Core responsibilities include:

• Lead the facilitation and coordination of cross functional change initiatives
• Document, manage and track mitigation strategies against risks associated with project and change initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives
• Effectively communicate program and project status to multiple stakeholders including senior management on a timely basis.
• Create tools and templates to drive program work.
• Care for all regulatory and governance requirements with each key project and or initiative
• Manage by influence, with ability to bring together key members across the business for one purpose
• Assess the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to drive growth and retention in the business.
• Engage members of the segment, including client facing and sales support to identify opportunities for improvement in processes and client experience.
• Overall coordination of the Client Experience Transformation strategy and execution, managing significant business changes necessary to remove friction points for clients and bankers.
• Review priorities against financial and productivity goals within the segment ensuring that tie and resources are aligned to biggest opportunity for franchise and clients.
  

Business Experience and Technical Skills:

• 10+ years of project management experience in financial services or consulting with background in a large organization
