• Create parametric surface models of new products and new product families (Pro Engineer/Creo 4 or more recent) that are adaptable to change as design evolves
• Develop strategies for creation of surface models of complex product families that ensure consistency and maximize efficiency of data creation.
• Employ 3D Data reuse techniques to help maximize efficiency and quality of throughput
• Create conceptual sub-division surface models (Pro Engineer/Creo 4 or more recent)
• Manage time effectively in order to support multiple projects concurrently
• Adhere to company 3D modeling best practices
• Use a PDM system to manage 3D CAD data
• Meet product schedule deadlines
• Provide technical leadership to new hires and interns.
