Strategic Engagement Director

• Collaborates with top tier customers to understand their device and process challenges related to Lithography and Advanced Process Control and help develop KLA Metrology solutions at advanced nodes.
• Creates engagement opportunities using KLA’s full suite of Inspection, Metrology, and Computational Patterning solutions to solve the most complex Lithography process and integration challenges.
• Be the technology "guru" for cutting edge technology and advanced metrology techniques. Interfaces with mid to high level technical leaders at customer sites, as well as KLA marketing and engineering to develop or enhance current and new KLA products and solutions.
• Work as a team with KLA marketing, technical directors and applications to define/execute customer project plans and deliver results.
• Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional area and/or customers. Direct involvement in KLA’s strategic planning process to define next generation Inspection and Metrology solutions.
• Support KLA PLC (product life cycle) teams as required.

Qualification:

• PhD in Science/Engineering discipline and >10 years of experience in advanced semiconductor processes and integration, especially Lithography.
• Extensive experience in fab process, integration, yield
• Experience with problem solving techniques and driving improvement with combined teams
• Experience leading cross functional teams to meet key objectives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with project management both internally and externally
