Summary

The Senior Purchaser/Planner will be located in Bade office and will dedicate to fulfill EMEA sales demand. Under general direction, the Senior Purchaser/Planner at Super Micro Computer, Inc. plans and coordinates the purchasing functions of the technological division; coordinate the work of the buyers, purchases high quality supplies, materials and equipments in accordance with informal and formal bidding procedures; prepare specifications and contracts for services/supplies. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Plan and purchase material requirements and ensure the flow of materials for ongoing production as well as for new products in development.

- Prepare, review, and place department purchasing requisitions.

- Maintain computerized purchasing records and paper filing.

- Monitor and resolve production material shortages.

- Seek, partner, and maintain relationships with reliable outside vendors and suppliers to manage purchase orders based on demand.

- Place orders and follow up closely with counterpart CMs to achieve sales demand and fulfillment.

- Monitor and follow up closely with internal and/or CM production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and monitor it for prototype projects.

- Update planning spreadsheets and internal reports regularly.

- Review and monitor inventory levels against sales ratio and sales forecast; respond to changes in sales trend and sales forecast.

- Enter purchase transactions precisely and gather both historical and current data.

- Other projects and tasks may be assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of purchasing and planning-related working experience.

- Experienced in MRP/ ERP/ SAP and supply chain management.

- Advanced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

- Language skills: Good in English (Listening, speaking, reading, writing).

- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Stress resistant. Can work under pressure & challenges.

- Ability to work cross-functionally.
