• Design and execute process improvement activities by coordinating with cross-functional teams including Contract Manufacturing partners.
• Statistics analysis of experimental data to identify process upset root causes and propose process optimization. Utilize data analysis techniques to identify opportunity in cycle-time reduction, yield & OEE improvement, defect reduction, and new product process introduction.
• Identify critical process parameters and propose process control plan to achieve PCPD for the plant.
• Report out key plant performance matrix and lead the process governance activities for Ningbo plant (submit process base case and change request in division level review meetings).
• Work on joint teams with development, engineering and quality team in a joint effort to deliver program objectives.
• Transfer of technology to plant operations with full implementation of training and documentation systems (Standard Operation Procedures, Process Set-points)
  

• B.S. Degree in engineering - Chemical engineering, Material science, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering are preferred.
• Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Minimum of 5 years process engineering (thermal and coating process engineering work experience is preferred).
  

• Knowledge of process control/process discipline, SPC, and DOE.
• Proficient in English and ability to communicate technically in written and oral are essential.
• High initiative, able to work with ambiguous technical situations, and able to work in team environment.
• Respectful to people and requires the ability to adapt in multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment.
• Technical curiosity with willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and quick response to problem identified.
• Results oriented with a high commitment level .
• Logical thinking and detail-oriented.
• Experience with using problem solving tools such as KT and MEE is preferred
• Ability to use MATLab for data analysis is a plus.
• Experience with plant operation and have work experience in an operation role is a plus Travel Requirement We anticipate up to 30-50% international travel. This position will report to Ceram Process Engineering Manager.
