The Role
Entegris’s Luquid Microcontamination Control Business Unit is seeking an experienced and highly motivated leader to take on a challenging role of Senior Director, CMP & CE Business Segments. This person will use their leadership, market, and portfolio management expertise to develop and execute portfolio strategies that drive revenue and margin growth. This position will be based out of our Taiwan facility and reports directly to the Vice President, Liquid Microcontamination Control Business Unit and will be an integral member of the business unit leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a visionary leader to develop and execute the CMP & CE (Chemical Mechanical Polishing and Consumer Electronics) liquid filter product and business strategy and grow our filtration business across a wide range of semiconductor and non-semiconductor applications. The successful candidate will have established a pattern of success in portfolio management and development, bringing new solutions to market and driving commercial wins to fuel profitable growth. Internally this position shall exude leadership excellence through applied behaviors best representing the Entegris corporate values

In this role you will

• Lead and continuously develop a cross functional, global team to execute on all areas of Portfolio Management, including but not limited to: market research, product definition, product commercialization, manufacturing scale up, and horizon planning;
• Assess, develop, and ultimately enhance organizational talent to drive sustained success;
• Establish strategic and operational plans, budgets and programs in order to achieve goals outlined in the annual operating plan and strategic roadmap
• P&L responsibility for the liquid filtration CE and CMP portfolios and meeting global revenue, operating income and gross margin targets;
• Create a product pipeline identifying market opportunities that is responsive to industry technology and customer requirements.
• Define market requirements for quality/cost/delivery for all major platforms and align goals with Divisional and Corporate resources.
• Manage the product portfolio and product lifecycle from idea inception to end of life, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage the product development technical team to prioritize projects, allocate resources, release new products to manufacturing and achieve revenue and profitability goals for new products.
• Drive collaboration with customers, OEMs, and key partners to accomplish goals;
• Primary interface with global account and technology teams, influencing and directing action to meet strategic objectives.
• Work with Divisional and Corporate resources in sales, marketing, technology, procurement, quality, and operations to execute business strategies to drive sustainable growth.
• Lead transformational change initiatives to improve efficiencies and execute on business commitments
• Drive a safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable internal and customer EHS policies and procedures
  
  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

• Extensive understanding of semiconductor business and processes with established contact network.
• Proven track record of success in leading cross-functional and cross cultural teams, resulting in growth for a multi-product line business;
• Proven leadership skills in portfolio management, P&L management, and business development.
• An understanding of the key financial metrics used to make decisions and measure the health of a business portfolio
• Ability to influence up, down and across a multi-national organization
• Technical background in liquid chemical processing and contamination control related field highly desired; CMP process and business experience a plus.
• Strong English and Chinese language and communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, Master’s Degree preferred
• Ability to travel globally up to 25% of the time and participate in conference calls outside of normal working hours
