With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build the next generation of smart home experiences. You’ll lead a local team to enable content providers to develop amazing entertainment experiences on Google Nest devices, unify developer experience across all Google Nest SDKs, unlock the nascent power of the smart home for first and third-party developers, and build the Developer Experience for Google Nest devices and the home automation ecosystem.

The Google Nest team focuses on hardware, software, and services for the home, ranging from Nest thermostats to Nest smart displays. The Google Nest team develops, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Software Engineers to design and align SDK API’s across Google Nest and beyond.
• Build and expand Smart Home Mesh SDK and features, utilizing various underlying connectivity technologies.
• Design and develop Smart Home Mesh solutions to make Google Nest devices and third-party ecosystem work better together.
