Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming such as C, C++, Linux Drivers
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant work experience, including development, testing and deployment for Android BSP.
• Experience in either kernel development, power management, performance tuning, battery charging, display driver/HAL, audio driver/HAL, or peripheral drivers on Android systems.
• Experience working with hardware designers/reading schematics.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

Pixel Watch System Software team designs and builds devices and services that are aspirational and showcase the potential of the Android and Wear OS platform. We strive to revolutionize how people interact with newer and smarter devices with the Android and Wear OS platform. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will help develop the whole software stack for devices, ranging from cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) all the way up to platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop the system software for Google devices.
• Work on SoC to perform low-level system integration and driver development.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain the software on devices and improve software quality.
• Develop validation tools and test cases to verify hardware/software functionality.
• Optimize the system power and performance, involving the developing for the next generation of SoC.
