Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience developing with Python, Java, or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing or hardware development, or software validation.
• 2 years of experience as a software project or team lead.
• Experience in data Extract, Transform, and Load processes (ETL) for data collection and analysis.
• Strong Knowledge of Google’s Cloud Platform including use of BigQuery, Spanner, CloudSQL, App Engine, and Compute Engine.

In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements and implementing the systems and processes required for Google’s manufacturing test and quality teams.

In particular, you will support the development of Google’s standard test executive platform, data collection systems, and product specific software development around shop floor system integration, product specific provisioning, and configuration systems, and partner integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop test executive software and test automation frameworks.
• Develop software and infrastructure required for managing a fleet of test systems at scale to avoid manual configuration of test systems.
• Develop test and quality data collection systems, and manage their deployment and roll-out at Google’s hardware manufacturing locations and partners.
• Develop product specific software required for the configuration, programming, and validation of Google’s hardware data center products.
