Job Overview

The company is looking for a Senior Full Stack (.NET, React) Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing business critical software in a matrix organization.

The IT Software Development team at SHL makes a big impact on the business. We are an agile team, who believe in continuous improvement and learning. Making an impact on a business is about trust, it’s about focus on priorities, efficiency and ultimately, delivering results.

In cooperation with team leaders, business and system owners, this position will be working on the design, development and testing of software solutions for internal users. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and technical skills to work cross-functionally with other teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to define and deliver new astonishing software solutions and improve the existing and established ones used in a global company
• Timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
• Peer review of design, code and test plans
• Develop and integrate with internal and external APIs.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Help with developing modern, agile software development practices
• Adhere to SHL’s security and privacy policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines

Requirements

• University degree, ideally in computer science or information systems
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience in .NET, C#, Visual Studio, React with TypeScript, HTML, CSS; Azure DevOps, Docker, SharePoint and/or Blazor are a big plus
• Experience with designing and implementing modern software architectures such as microservices or event-driven architectures
• Experience in software design, development and testing with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in SQL database management
• Knowledge of industry standards such as GAMP 5, computer systems validation, 21 CFR part 11, data integrity principles are preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Very good verbal and written communication in both, English and Chinese, are mandatory
• You are a problem solver with a can-do attitude
