An exciting new opportunity for a Senior Service Engineer to join Servomex, the world leader in gas analysis. The successful candidate will perform workshop service and repairs and work to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in the support of Servomex products.

The main responsibility and focus for this role will be based around the workshop service and repairs, however there will be the opportunity for field service and meeting customers with regional travel as required.

About the Opportunity:

• Primary responsibility will be focused on workshop service, calibration and repairs
• Taking customer and channel partner telephone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service and technical assistance
• Occasional field service support and the opportunity to meet customers may also be possible
• Responsible for receiving equipment to be serviced, and ensuring successful and timely turnaround
• Conducting evaluations of instruments and providing technically compliant quotations to the service coordinator for distribution
• Completing repair reports and any other required reports/documentation
• Ensuring that Servomex equipment meets the relevant health and safety and local safety requirements
• Communication with the Service Coordinator for return of repaired units
• Ad Hoc duties and responsibilities as determined by Service management

About Your Essential Talent:

• Experience performing electronic repairs and calibration of gas analyzers or comparable equipment
• Experience working within a High Tech, electronic or instrumentation industry
• Formal electronics training
• Field service/repair center experience
• Customer facing experience with excellent customer service skills
