The OpportunityDCSS STE

• Dedicated to engineering efforts from planning and organization to execution and delivery to solve complex engineering problems in tools and testing.
• Design, create, modify, and execute test plans for firmware and software validation at the device, system, and user level.
• Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for storage firmware/software testing to increase productivity.
• Introduce the cutting edge technologies to testing, and drive to improve software QA processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with software/firmware development team to debug and analyze industrial/enterprise storage sub-systems, and influence IP/Firmware/Software to improve the overall design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields at least 1-3 years of related professional experience. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with no professional experience.
• Proficient in Python scripting
• Understanding computer architecture, driver, and OS concept
• Familiar with Linux/Windows/VMware administration
• Proficient in Jenkins is a plus
• Hands-on experience of Ocsilliscope/protocol analyzer is a plus
• Hands-on experience of VMware/Windows certification is a plus
• Familiar with PCIe/NVMe/MCTP/SMBUS/SPI is a plus
• Familiar with RAID/distributed storage technology is a plus
• Familiar with NAND flash/HDD/other storage media technology is a plus
• Proficient in the scripting languages BASH/Windows shell/VMware API is a plus
• Familiar with RTOS like SLES, RHEL, Photon, ESXi low latency, and WinRiver is a plus
