About the role...

ALP, an innovative firm specializing in logistic property development, is seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to support our rapidly expanding businesses in the SEA region. The role is responsible for regulating financial transactions of subsidiaries abroad and maintaining a ledger to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks. Work cross-functionally with the CEOO team and coordinate with external accounting firms/tax agents/secretarial firms to ensure

local compliance and handle accounting and tax issues.

Job Responsibilities

What you will do...

  • Manage all finance and accounting operations of subsidiaries abroad including intercompany transactions.
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms/tax agents/secretarial firms to ensure local and international tax compliance, timely filing the tax returns, and making tax payments.
  • Review monthly financial reports by ensuring data has been correctly booked and take corrective actions.
  • Prepare consolidation reports of holding companies.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions of the group entities.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Identify, design, and implement accounting processes and contents for new accounting standards/tax regulations and new business initiatives.

    • Essential and Functional Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business administration is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Holding CPA or CFA will be a plus.
  • 3+ years experience in the Big 4 or in the accounting field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Mandarin and English oral & written communication skills will be a must.
  • Audit experience in international companies and SAP knowledge will be a plus.
